I often see the cranes going on in town ... Ive seen some with the wheel automatically lifts, so you do not even have to leave the cabin. The question is ... What about parking? And as wheels come into play?

You always have to leave the cockpit to ensure the wheel lift.
Simply remove the ebrake.
